Environmental preservation is a priority for the conservation of precious natural resources and the continued health of our planet. Stumptown Records recognizes its responsibility as a global citizen and is continually striving to reduce the environmental impact of the work we do and the products we create.

How we impact the environment is also important to us, and environmental considerations are an integral part of Stumptown Records' business practices. From the earliest stages of our artists development through our CD manufacturing, use, and recycling, we take care to keep our activities and our products environmentally sound.

Four areas of particular attention are product and packaging design, responsible manufacturing, energy efficiency, recycling Zero Carbon Tours. 

Responsible Manufacturing
Stumptown Records helps to safeguard the environment — as well as consumers’ safety — by restricting the use of environmentally harmful compounds in CD manufacturing processes.

Terra Soul Music uses only environmentally-friendly, plastic-free alternative to jewel cases. This one-piece trayless pouch is made from sturdy recycled board stock. A bit costlier than jewel cases, but less than half the weight - so the planet is save resources! Pocket folder option allows for insertion of booklet or folder. 99% recycled 100 lb. kraft stock.
